From San Diego, California: Serena Cuevas
Starting in New York City, Serena has been dancing Ballroom & Latin club dances for 16 years. In 2008 she created Deseo Dance, an innovative Styling company representing the United States worldwide. Over the years, Serena has competed in some of the most prestigious competitions including ESPN World Salsa Championships, World Latin Dance Cup, & World Mayan Bachata Competition. She has performed and taught in over 40 cities around the world and continues to work with those interested in growing Latin Styling in their communities. Today Serena is based in San Diego, California and directs Deseo Dance; Deseo is an Exclusive Ladies Styling company whose mission is to create a learning environment where everyone grows to dance with confidence, ease, and passion to the level of their Desire.

From Las Vegas, Nevada: Sin City Salseros
Amazing!!! Innovative!!!! Creative!!!! Are just a few words that describe Las Vegas’s best professional salsa dance company. Sin City Salseros was founded in the late 1990’s by Nate Strager and Bill Schindelar and has been a staple for salsa dancing in Las Vegas and the world for almost fifteen years. Today Sin City Salseros is directed by Nate Strager and Virginia Cano and have captivated audiences around the world with their choreographies and mind blowing routines. Sin City Salseros is not only Las Vegas’s best salsa dance company, but they train in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and afro-Cuban weekly so that they may push salsa to a different level than ever seen before. Sin City Salseros have performed in countries such as Canada and Mexico, and all over the United States from Alaska to New York. They have performed and choreographed in many Las Vegas shows and venues such as Tito Puente Jr. and Charro show called Bravo to competing at the World Salsa Championships in Las Vegas, and have danced at every major casino & hotel in Las Vegas for corporate shows and Las Vegas strip acts.

From East Elmhurst, New York: Jean Franco Vergaray
Jean Franco Vergaray is originally from Peru, and is a budding filmmaker, dancer, and chef. He dances and performs at the Mambo Bravo dance studio and is in the process of launching his own freelance film-editing business in New York. He has traveled throughout the United States and internationally to perform and teach one of his passions. He competed recently at the World Latin Dance Cup and placed in the top 3 in the world. He has traveled to Huntsville many times and is anxious to actually get to teach and share his passion with the Rocket City.

For the 1st time ever Huntsville will:

Dance till the early morning with Dancing till 4:00am,
Performances in a 300 seat Auditorium
Freshman Cup Scholarship Competition

6 Hour VIP Choreography workshop!

It is the Battle of the Sexes / West Coast vs East Coast
Ladies or Followers will have a 6 hour boot camp/choreography session with Serena
Gentlemen or Leads will have a 6 hour boot camp/choreography Session with Jean
4 hours Friday June 6th, 2 hours Saturday June 7th
The Teams will actually perform the choreography with their instructors/coaches and perform on stage on Saturday Night in front of the crowd. A Huntsville First. If you ever wanted to perform and wanted the best in the game to train you, here is your chance.

Freshman Cup Scholarship Competition

For the 1st time ever in Huntsville beginner/Intermediate students will have the opportunity to dance and compete for a Scholarship (High School Seniors – Advanced Education. A check will be written to the University of their choice for use towards books, tuition, or any school necessity).
Sin City Salseros, Serena, and Jean will be the judges for this competition.
Registering for this will be separate from registering for the workshops or the VIP Choreography workshop.

Affordable Lodging Available

4 Room Suites available for the event:
Each room comes with a bed, closet, and Dresser
Each Suite has 2 Full Bathrooms
Each Suite has a Refrigerator in the Common area.

Share a suite with your friends and have your own room. Don't like the fact that your friends snore, close the door!
Meet new people in the salsa community by sharing a suite.

The Building has easy access to the Party, Performances, and workshops.

Very Affordable, $25.00 per night per person, You can choose who to share a suite with if you choose. If not we will pair people accordingly....
Each person will have a bed. NO SHARING (unless you want to)
LIMITED NUMBER OF SUITES, 1st COME, 1st Served!
You will only use your room to freshen up and sleep. You don't need to room service with restaurants less then a mile away.

Let us know when registering you want a room/suite and tell us if you want Friday and Saturday or just Saturday.

Contact either Gwendolyn, Donald, Erick, or a delegate in your city and let them know you want to buy a ticket for the event. Be specific what you want, either Workshops and Party, VIP only, Combo, or the FULL Pass. Let us know if you need a room. Tell us 1 night or 2 nights. Let us know if you want to share the suite with someone in particular.

Once payment is recieved you wil recieve a receipt and confirmation to confirm your registration.
All Passes are Transferable but non Refundable.- A fee will be issued if not transferred before May 1st 2014.
