The UAH Salsa Club

The University of Alabama Huntsville Performance Team has built many dancers into great social dancers. The work ethic and the passion that these students have shown, has produced wonderful routines that show difficulty, and great foundation. We push our dancers to routines that people think they can't do instead of lowering our difficulty to what they can do. We have danced on the stages of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada, the stage at the Houston Salsa Congress, the Rumba Room in Memphis Tennessee, Socials in Nashville Tennessee, and locally at socials and the Salsaalabama Jam.  We would love to perform for you, if interested, please email us at salsaclub@uah.edu.

OUR MOTTO " SALSERO in TRAINING & SALSERA in TRAINING",  Yes we are a team but our focus is to build the dancer up so that the team will benefit from their growth. We are as good as our weakest dancer so we build them up so that we don't have any weak dancers. We are always learning, always staying humble, and always dancing with everyone. Some call us cliques, we call ourselves dancers!!!!  We just love learning and never staying content with being just okay or just performing. Are goal is to be Great and to let people know that Alabama is diverse in culture. WE LOVE DANCING and LATIN DANCING IS GROWING IN ALABAMA.
